Date, place, and a theme for the invite. Set a capacity if your place has one.

Invite friends and circles, or send a link that opens straight into the invite. Approval is on by default. You decide who walks in.
Run your own door
Guests tap “I'm here” when they arrive, or you tap them in yourself. You know who's actually in the room, not who said maybe.
Invite-only, always. No feed to browse, no tickets, no cover. You see a party because someone invited you.
Real names. You pick who sees you.
No anonymous accounts, so you always know who you're actually meeting. New accounts start in Ghost — nobody sees you until you pick an audience. Venues never see you at all. They get counts, never names. We don't sell your data, and you can delete your account and everything in it, anytime.

Show up enough and
the place knows your name.
You'll go out hundreds of times before you graduate. Right now none of it is written down anywhere. Sway keeps where you went, who you were with, and how long you've been going.

Fourteen visits to Gully's means something. Sway is the only thing that counts them.

Your POS tells you what sold on Thursday. It can't tell you if the same twelve people have been in every Thursday since September.

Not how many people came in. How many of them had been in before.

How many students are on their second or third visit — the group you can still turn into regulars.
Which nights build habits
Not headcount. Repeat presence, night over night, across a semester.
